More than 6 million people live in Denmark. The approximately 1,400 towns and cities and more than 4 mill. buildings constitute the framework of everyday life in Denmark. This is where people live, work, go to school, and engage in leisure-activities. This is where people live out their lives; and this is also where we makes a difference.
We are a philanthropic association with some 185,000 members, all of whom engage in philanthropy on the basis of returns on its investment assets. We are regulated through the Act on Certain Commercial Undertakings.
A Presentation of Realdania
We are a fully self-endowed philanthropic association with about 185,000 members. We work for the common good to benefit everyone in Denmark by supporting projects all over the country. The money that we grant to projects comes from the return on our investments.
